Stage 1 Complete For More Evidence Of the “Mom For Murawski” Endorsement Fraud
This particular mystery was left with two questions: Whether or not the local paper that originally printed the op-ed piece gave permission for it to be re-printed by former Mayor Thomas Murawksi and/or those that performed the work on his behalf…
and whether or not the Mayor’s mother ever gave permission for such a reprint of a previously published opinion that was completely unrelated to the election cycle such an endorsement was associated with.
The first question of whether or not the local paper gave permission or not was answered with a very clear “no.”
So violation #1 would be the copyright laws governing the reproduction rules and regulations of public materials.
Possible Defense #1 would be that the letter was published in a publicly distributed newspaper, thereby in the public domain and free for use.
Conclusion #1 would be that the letter was clearly published out of context, despite the application of the visible time and date stamp of the original article since the opinion piece was written in the context of the 2001-2002 election cycle…
Not the 2008-2009 election cycle in which her son was running against the candidate she was endorsing in the article.
So with this particular stage set complete with a dining room table, the next question would be what line-item penalties should be officially recorded on who’s record…
And so the mystery moves on…
And so do the rest of us.
